Early Childhood Educator - Literacy Based Curriculum Specialist

As a Literacy Based Curriculum Specialist, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational experience of our students and contributing to the development of our proprietary curriculum.

Job Summary



The Early Childhood Educator - Literacy Based Curriculum Specialist will be responsible for the coordination of classroom operations, including the implementation of our proprietary literacy-based curriculum. This will involve developing and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure a high-quality educational experience for all students.



Responsibilities




  • Develop and implement literacy-based curriculum programs for students aged 2-5 years
  • Assess student progress and adjust curriculum as needed to meet individual learning needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective educational program
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress and involve them in the educational process
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education


Requirements




  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a licensed childcare facility
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds or less and occasionally lift 25-50 pounds
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
