Mechanical Commissioning Specialist

A Mechanical Commissioning Engineer is needed for a large construction project. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating mechanical building system startups, commissioning activities, and providing subject matter expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
The candidate will review product and equipment submittals, shop drawings, engineering design drawings, specifications, and contractor-generated RFIs, and apply extensive knowledge of safety procedures, safe work practices, and OSHA requirements for mechanical installations.
Key responsibilities include facilitating mechanical building system startups and commissioning activities, providing subject matter expert assistance in reviewing product and equipment submittals, and applying knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in construction management, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate mechanical building system startups and commissioning activities
Provide subject matter expert assistance in reviewing product and equipment submittals, shop drawings, engineering design drawings, specifications, and contractor-generated RFIs
Apply extensive knowledge of safety procedures, safe work practices, and OSHA requirements for mechanical installations
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in construction management
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project
