Nurse Care Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Maxwell Group, Inc. as a Nurse Care Specialist. This role is responsible for providing hands-on resident care, administering medications and treatments, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform resident assessments, record vital signs, and administer medications and treatments.
- Keep timely documentation of written reports and verbal reports to ensure quality care is provided.
- Interact with resident physicians, pharmacists, and medical personnel as needed.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility.
- Participate in and attend all required in-service training and education sessions.
Requirements:
- Four-year college or university degree desired.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
- Two years' experience in a similar healthcare position preferred.

Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Expected Hours of Work:
- This position is very active and requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing.
- This position will be required to lift or carry weight up to 50 lbs. and ability to push up to 250 pounds independently.
- The individual must use proper body mechanics to assist residents in their daily living.
- This position regularly requires long hours and frequent night and weekend work.
Travel: No travel is expected, although occasional travel may be required for training sessions, continuing education opportunities, emergency situations, and other company functions.
