Job Summary

As a Behavioral Health Intake Therapist at SSM Health, you will play a vital role in conducting interviews and behavioral health assessments for potential admissions, including telehealth assessments. Your expertise will help patients and families navigate the mental health care system and ensure they receive the support they need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough interviews and behavioral health assessments to determine the best course of treatment for patients
  • Facilitate the admission process, including coordinating transportation and referrals as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Document all interactions and assessments in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Behavioral Health or a related field
  • No prior experience required, but a passion for mental health care and a commitment to excellence are essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
