Job Summary

Modern Technology Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to support the United States Space Force (USSF) by developing software in support of Space Systems Command (SSC) Cyber Operations Branch. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, maintain, and monitor internal and external networks
  • Implement and manage all systems, applications, security, and network configurations
  • Resolve network performance issues and establish a disaster recovery plan
  • Recommend upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development, or STEM related specialty and 6 years' related professional experience
  • Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development, or STEM related specialty and 4 years experience related professional experience
  • CCNA, Security+, CCDE, IAT Level I Clearance
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Top Secret (TS) security clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility (highly desired)

Location/Travel Requirements:

Place of work is Colorado Springs, remote work opportunity is limited. You may be required to travel periodically, less than 10%.
