About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work in a mixed role, splitting your time between inpatient and outpatient care. You will be part of a tight-knit team of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and advancing the field of medicine.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to complex patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement innovative care models
- Participate in teaching and education, including training residents and medical students
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research projects
- Unrestricted WA State Medical License or ability to obtain prior to employment
- Current WA DEA certificate or ability to obtain prior to employment
- Board Eligible/Board Certified Internal Medicine or ability to obtain prior to employment
- EMR proficient
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Self-starter with ability to practice with a high degree of independence
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Managed Care experience
- 1+ years' experience post-training
- Experience with complex geriatric patients
