Job Title: Outside Sales Account Manager

At SunSource, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outside Sales Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing new business and driving sales growth in the fluid process industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers to understand their needs and provide solutions
  • Collaborate with our technical team to provide expert advice and support to customers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to identify new business opportunities
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and goals
Requirements:
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 2-year technical, industrial, and/or engineering degree preferred
  • 2+ years of industrial sales experience focused on fluid process/fluid handling equipment/rotating equipment
  • Experience calling into chemical plants, refineries, and papermills preferred
  • Ability to establish, build, and maintain business relationships
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to learn and effectively use a CRM system
