Job Title: Software Development Manager

We are seeking a talented and professional Software Development Manager to join our team at evolv consulting.

Job Summary:

The Software Development Manager will be responsible for leading the development of software solutions, collaborating with subject matter experts, and ensuring that documentation follows company compliance standards and branding guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain software solutions, including process control manuals and technical road map documentation.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop documents, guides, and reference material.
  • Translate technical ideas and processes into easy-to-understand documentation.
  • Ensure documentation follows company compliance standards and branding guidelines.
  • Participate in custom solutions and integration with related software solutions.
  • Subject Matter Expert in leading integration of key business functions into architecture, design, testing, and implementation of software solutions.
  • Design, code, and help create and analyze requirements.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Work through all phases of the project lifecycle, including reviewing requirements, designing services, building new interfaces, and delivering seamless implementations.
  • Remain committed to successful delivery to the client on every engagement.
  • Prioritize individual operational excellence by meeting or exceeding all utilization goals.
  • Contribute to evolv's culture and people development through collaborating well internally and participating in internal initiatives.
  • Help grow evolv by understanding how we build client partnerships and evolv brand.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience with full stack development, including.NET Core, C#, Java, SQL, and modern front-end technologies.
  • 7+ overall application development experience.
  • Experience in leading application development teams, ideally on Product Development related projects.
  • Experience working with or presenting to clients or upper management.
  • Strong product mindset - understanding what systems are being built, what goals are needing to be met, and how it affects businesses/customers.
  • Some experience with AWS and or Azure.
  • Experience developing and delivering software in an agile methodology.
  • Experience mentoring junior software engineers to improve their skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
