Senior Software Development Specialist

As a key member of the United Software Group team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the Alloy Studio platform. Your expertise in software development will be instrumental in improving the platform's functionality, user experience, and data management capabilities.

With a focus on innovation and collaboration, you will work closely with data consumers and producers to design and develop modern data management tools. Your contributions will help automate processes, improve data quality, and optimize query execution time.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing data management tools to curate data sets, models, and processes
  • Contributing to open-source technology and driving adoption of cloud technology for data processing and warehousing
  • Engaging with data stakeholders to design appropriate models and ensure data quality

Required qualifications include:

  • Minimum three years' experience in Java, AWS, and React
  • Minimum three years' experience in multidimensional data, data curation, and data quality
  • Minimum three years' experience in relational and columnar SQL databases, including database design
  • Bachelor or Master degree in a computational field (Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or related quantitative discipline)

Desired qualifications include:

  • Financial Services industry experience
  • Experience in distributed system design
  • Experience with Pure/Alloy
  • Working knowledge of open-source tools such as AWS lambda, Prometheus
