We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Cherokee Grill in Gatlinburg. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food products, maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment, and ensuring the accuracy of product temperatures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients according to menu specifications and assemble dishes efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Monitor and control kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Stay up-to-date with new menu items and specials, and adapt to changing kitchen demands.
Requirements:
- Excellent math skills and basic conversion knowledge.
- Ability to use digital scales and thermometers accurately.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and walk throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and more with assistance.
- Previous kitchen line experience is preferred.
