Job Summary

The Einstein Group Inc is seeking a highly skilled Reading Intervention Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our instructional staff, you will play a critical role in supporting student achievement in reading and literacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instructional Support: Provide high-quality instruction to individual students and small groups, using data to inform your teaching practices and bring students' skills to grade level.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to identify best practices for individual and small groups of students, and to develop and implement targeted interventions.
  • Assessment and Data Analysis: Use research-based assessments to identify student needs, and maintain data-based documentation of student progress and performance.
  • Communication: Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student progress, and provide input for program development and implementation.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to improve your knowledge and skills, and to stay up-to-date on best practices in reading instruction.
Requirements
  • Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Certification: State certification in reading is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to apply instructional strategies on differentiation, strong organizational skills, and knowledge of collaboration practices, team teaching practices, and special education.
