- Develop and implement research-based interventions to meet the needs of individual students
- Monitor and report on student progress, providing data to inform instruction and decision-making
- Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure seamless support for students
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- State certification in Reading or related area
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and administrators
- Strong organizational and time management skills
The Reading Intervention Specialist will be evaluated annually based on student achievement data and progress towards meeting individualized goals.
