We are in search of a highly qualified Lead Civil Engineer to enhance our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the design and execution of diverse projects, such as site development, roadway engineering, and stormwater management. Proficiency in Autocad, Auto Desk Civil 3D, and similar software is essential. A Professional Engineer license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the design and implementation of various engineering projects.
- Develop and evaluate plans, drawings, and specifications for construction.
- Collaborate with project managers and fellow engineers to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
- Conduct site assessments and inspections to ensure adherence to regulations and safety protocols.
- Perform calculations and analyses to validate project feasibility and safety.
- Engage with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to facilitate project success.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Professional Engineer license is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in areas such as underground utilities, commercial grading, site development, and roadway design.
- Proficient in Autocad, Auto Desk Civil 3D, and related software.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
