Job Summary

The Lundquist Institute is seeking a highly skilled Nutritionist III to lead our nutrition education and training initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures, conducting staff training, and providing technical assistance to site staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Deputy Chief, Nutrition Education and Training, to plan, develop, and implement nutrition education policies and procedures.
  • Lead staff training programs, conduct program integrity and Continuous Quality Improvement activities, and provide nutrition education counseling skills to staff.
  • Work with the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Services Management Team to collect and analyze data on staff compliance with WIC Program policies and procedures.
  • Develop and conduct training for newly hired WIC Nutrition Assistant staff.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to site staff as directed by the Deputy Chief, Nutrition Education and Training.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nutrition.
  • Registered with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Valid California driver's license, proof of personal auto insurance, and dependable personal transportation for traveling to sites and the administrative office.
