Job OverviewOur organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Audit Associate to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our Tax-Exempt client's financial integrity and operational efficiency. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual with a solid background in financial, compliance, and operational audits to contribute to our team's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage audit teams to deliver high-quality audit services to Tax-Exempt clients.
  • Develop and implement audit strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct financial and operational audits to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for process enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes to maintain expertise and provide guidance to team members.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications (like CPA, CIA, CISA, or ACCA) will be considered a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial auditing, compliance audits, and operational audits with Tax-Exempt Clients.
  • Strong analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and excellent quantitative skills.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and teams, with the ability to motivate teams to produce quality work within tight timeframes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
