Role Responsibilities:

As a Human Resources Associate at Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. (BLE), you will play a crucial role in supporting our corporate team’s commitment to excellence. Your primary focus will be to assist with the company's recruitment and human resources operations.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Internship or 1-2 years of experience in recruitment is preferred
  • Ability to work in an office setting with a consistent in-person presence to facilitate daily HR functions and team collaboration
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively and efficiently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Key Duties:

  • Identify and source qualified candidates for technician-level roles through various platforms (job boards, social media, networking, etc.).
  • Review resumes and applications, conducting initial interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications and suitability.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to assess staffing needs and develop job descriptions in partnership with the Senior Recruiter.
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate details and progress.
  • Organize and engage in career fairs to attract potential candidates.
  • Assist new hires with pre-employment tasks (e.g., drug screening, background checks, transcript verification, and motor vehicle checks).
  • Support the processing of new hire documentation and coordinate orientation sessions.
  • Work with other HR team members to enhance processes continuously.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the HR team, including maintaining employee records.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR processes, benefits, and company policies.
  • Participate in additional projects as assigned by the Human Resources Director.
