Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Manager to join our team at Charities Housing. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the monetary aspects of our organization, including cash flow, liquidity, funding, and relationships with financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage Charities' debt portfolio, ensuring timely payments, loan account reconciliations, and debt covenant compliance.
  • Manage lender-held escrow accounts, review lender analysis, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Perform cash needs analysis, determine reserve withdrawals, and manage approval and reimbursement processes.
  • Monitor financial performance, understand surplus cash/waterfall rules, and conduct cash-flow analysis.
  • Track and reconcile intercompany borrowing transactions, prepare monthly advance reports, and produce quarterly treasury reports for the Board of Directors.
  • Monitor reserves to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Build and maintain good banking/lender relationships, identify opportunities to better utilize Charities' banking services.
  • Implement and review the Investment strategy, monitor investment activities, and maintain liquidity.
  • Partner with the Accounting/Finance team to support the annual audit process.
Requirements
  • Experience in treasury management, including debt portfolios, liquidity, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Strong analytical background and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to be a quick learner, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
  • Well-organized, with the ability to prioritize duties and responsibilities, multitask, and deal effectively with people.
  • Minimum five years' experience in professional treasury experience, with affordable housing industry experience preferred.
