Parts Manager

Job Summary:
Waynesboro Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to manage the inventory of parts and supplies needed for production. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all materials are available for team members and will work closely with the service manager to guarantee timely turnaround of parts needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forecast and manage inventory levels to meet the requirements of various departments
- Hire, train, and monitor the performance of all inventory control staff
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that all parts are properly tagged
- Develop and enforce guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
- Supervise stock order procedures and work closely with the service manager to ensure timely delivery of parts
- Provide technical assistance when necessary and ensure that all safety requirements are met
Requirements:
- At least two years of experience in inventory management or a related field
- Technical knowledge of automotive parts and supplies
- Management experience and skills to lead a team and make strategic decisions
- Computer literacy and ability to use inventory management software
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and customers
