**Job Summary**
The selected candidate will perform a variety of duties in a professional social services setting. The primary focus will be on facilitating groups and one-on-one sessions to help clients overcome dependencies and manage difficulties.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement psycho-educational lesson plans to facilitate client progress.
- Provide services to consumers, including classes, activities, note writing, counseling, and individual therapy.
- Offer weekend coverage and support for peers and staff.
- Participate in special events and assignments throughout the organization.
- Under general supervision, provide a broad range of social services to consumers and their families.
- Collaborate with treatment teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Liaise with community resources to support client needs.
- Assess client condition, needs, strengths, and weaknesses through interviews.
- Set tailored goals and monitor client progress, providing feedback to the team to modify treatment plans.
- Offer information and feedback to the team on the best course of action during sessions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and report on clients' status.
- Act as a key-worker and cooperate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Refer clients to community services to support their recovery.
**Job Type and Benefits**
This is a part-time position established for less than 9 months or scheduled for less than 30 hours per week. The position is not eligible for benefits if the status is temporary. However, positions established for greater than 9 months and scheduled for greater than 30 hours per week are eligible for benefits if the position status is permanent labor.
