Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Math Tutor at Mathnasium of Palo Alto-Menlo Park, CA. As a Math Tutor, you will play a vital role in creating an engaging and productive learning experience for students.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional instruction and tutoring services to students, fostering a deep understanding and love of mathematics.
  • Develop strong relationships with parents, establishing trust and confidence in our program.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital educational materials and processes, ensuring seamless delivery of instruction.
  • Teach in-center, online, and/or hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices, including individualized instruction in a group setting.
  • Assess student progress throughout instructional sessions, collaborating with team members to provide the best possible experience for students.
  • Evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework, providing constructive feedback.
  • Maintain a clean and professional learning environment, supporting the overall success of our students.
  • Assist with non-teaching/instructional tasks as needed, ensuring the smooth operation of our center.

  • A genuine passion for math and working with students.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with parents and students.
  • Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I, with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • The ability to balance multiple tasks and responsibilities, prioritizing the needs of our students.
