Your Role:
As a Practical Nursing Specialist, you will:
  • Assist the RN/Physician in the intake process by collecting baseline data regarding the client's health status.
  • Evaluate point-of-care urine drug screenings.
  • Educate and orient clients and their families to the unit's environment and structure.
  • Facilitate family interactions while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Intervene as necessary to ensure the safety of staff and clients.
  • Document client interactions and interventions accurately.
  • Provide reports to the RN Shift Manager, ADON, DON, and QI staff as required.

Who We Seek:
We are looking for candidates who possess:
  • A clear and active license to practice as an LPN in the State of Florida.
  • Preferred experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting.
