Manufacturing Engineer Sr.

At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As a Manufacturing Engineer Sr., you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing processes for our cutting-edge space vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement manufacturing work instructions to ensure high-quality production.
- Lead Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop manufacturing equipment and tooling.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation to support manufacturing processes and quality control.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on space or aerospace applications.
- Strong knowledge of composite materials, integration processes, and quality control techniques.
- Experience with manufacturing software, such as CAD/CAM systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
