Manufacturing Engineer III

At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As a Manufacturing Engineer III, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing processes and systems that enable the production of high-quality spacecraft and related components.

  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes and systems that meet or exceed quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new products and manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including AS9100.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including process instructions and quality procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • 6+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on process development and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, including mechanical design and manufacturing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering.
  • Experience with new product development and launch.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific software and tools, such as CAD and ERP systems.
