Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Tasca Automotive Group. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical service to vehicles and equipment, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret job orders to identify the necessary work to be performed
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and equipment to diagnose and repair malfunctions
  • Follow established checklists and procedures to ensure all critical parts are examined and repaired
  • Test-drive vehicles to ensure they are running smoothly and safely
  • Tag all warranty parts and returns to the warranty clerk
  • Attend training classes and stay up-to-date on factory technical bulletins
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer satisfaction
  • Complete all work according to applicable safety requirements and published procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Ensure guest vehicles are returned in the same condition as they were received
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in a fleet or dealership setting
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • ASE certification preferred
  • CDL certification preferred
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Strong sense of dedication to the customer and service team
  • Self-motivated and professional
  • Possess own tools
