Job Title: Traveling General Manager

Aramark Student Nutrition is a leading provider of food and nutrition services to over 350 school districts in the U.S. We offer a range of dining options, including breakfast and lunch programs, after-school snacks, catering, nutrition education, and retail operations. Our goal is to provide healthy, nutritional meals with a stellar dining experience for our communities.

As a Traveling General Manager, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and guiding multiple contracted services for clients, generating $2-15M+ in revenue. You will lead a team to provide excellent service to our clients, building strong relationships and driving employee and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team to provide operational expertise in contracted services, with a focus on client and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage client and community relationships, assessing operations and developing plans to drive service improvement and growth.
  • Build, develop, and lead a management team and staff capable of carrying out organizational objectives.
  • Recommend methods, resources, and implementation for service improvement and growth, based on understanding of operational needs, capabilities, and contractual obligations.
  • Manage a budget and assist in the design of improvements to optimize financial performance and operational productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and codes, and maintain all associated records and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Aramark's standards of operation, including safety standards and Aramark's Business Conduct Policy.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, Business Management, or similar.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and Aramark support staff.
  • Experience in service industry, contract services, or hospitality environment, with a focus on client and customer services.
  • Proven ability to lead through other managers, with a focus on building and developing a high-performing team.
  • Experience in creating and managing a department budget, financial controls, and analysis.
  • Experience in crafting product sales strategies and implementing operational programs and initiatives.
