As a family-owned wholesale nursery, we specialize in a diverse range of seasonal products, including annuals, perennials, and vegetables. Our clientele consists of major retailers who purchase our products in bulk. We pride ourselves on delivering top-notch plant materials coupled with exceptional customer service.
Ideal Candidate: The perfect fit for this role will possess knowledge and experience in plant care, demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and exhibit outstanding customer service skills. Following management directives and client initiatives is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Showcase and maintain live plant inventory in expansive garden centers.
- Provide training and support to fellow associates regarding procedures, displays, and watering techniques.
- Engage with and assist customers as required.
- Be prepared to work across multiple locations when necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with store staff.
Requirements:
- Possession of a reliable vehicle.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Capability to lift and move weights up to 20 lbs as needed.
- A reliable smartphone is required for communication purposes.
Work Schedule: Traditional workdays include Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays (mandatory), with availability on Fridays during peak season.
Job Type: Seasonal
Compensation: $18 per hour
