About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Reliability Engineer to join our team at Shuvel Digital. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Infrastructure Design: Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure using Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
  • DevOps and Automation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Packer, Terraform, and Ansible to automate deployment, testing, and monitoring of cloud applications.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes, Helm, and Istio.
  • Cloud Security and Compliance: Ensure cloud infrastructure meets security and compliance requirements, including data encryption, access controls, and auditing.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and operations, to ensure smooth deployment and operation of cloud applications.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure as code.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with cloud providers, including Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, including Python, Bash, and Ansible.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with microservice architectures, REST, JMS, and AMQP.
  • Experience with Istio and service mesh.
  • Strong understanding of cloud cost optimization and resource management.
