Job Title: Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team at Tyonek Native Corporation. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building virtual network environments for our training team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable and flexible virtual network architectures to support our training needs.
  • Develop and implement cloud engineering solutions using platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, and VMware.
  • Incorporate open architecture principles to ensure that our network can scale and adapt to future requirements.
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to apply cloud engineering principles across all components and processes of our virtual training environment.
  • Document and comply with established procedures and standards.
  • Stay updated on the latest cloud technologies and trends to continuously improve our training network environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing virtual networks using cloud platforms and/or on-premise solutions.
  • Strong understanding of cloud engineering principles and virtualization technologies.
  • Ability to assess and compare the benefits and drawbacks of on-premise vs. cloud-hosted solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
  • Experience with PCTE.
