  • Customer Engagement:
    Deliver exceptional service that reflects the values of Ace Hardware. Proactively assist customers in addressing their needs and concerns. Welcome customers upon entry and express gratitude as they exit. Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor while collaborating with both customers and team members. Ensure all inquiries are addressed promptly and courteously. Escalate unresolved customer issues to management. Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge and familiarity with store layout to assist customers effectively. Provide personalized service to enhance the shopping experience for every customer.
  • Store Operations:
    Contribute to a positive, professional, and safe working atmosphere. Assist with the stocking and organization of merchandise throughout the store. Help maintain appropriate back stock levels. Ensure the sales floor, stockroom, and outdoor areas are clean and orderly. Support the execution of merchandise resets and ensure signage is accurate and up-to-date. Collaborate with Department Specialists on tasks such as pricing adjustments and special orders. Communicate any operational issues to management for resolution. Participate in team meetings and uphold a professional appearance and conduct at all times.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED is required. Previous retail experience is preferred. Familiarity with technology, including computers, tablets, and smartphones, is essential.

Physical Requirements:
Candidates should be prepared for standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and climbing as part of their daily responsibilities.
