As a Senior Mechanical Engineer on the Crew Starship team, you will play a crucial role in designing and building critical spacecraft systems that ensure the success and safety of future astronauts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop next-generation structures, mechanisms, and interior systems for Crew Starship vehicles
  • Utilize hand calculations and FEA to assess and optimize designs
  • Iterate on manufacturing processes and development testing in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure hardware integrates seamlessly with Starship systems and supports mission operations
  • Lead design reviews internally and externally with suppliers and customers
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of experience with mechanical design and analysis
  • Leadership experience on an engineering or project team
