Role Summary:
As an Insight Strategist, you will be pivotal in crafting and presenting vital insights that drive our clients' success. Leveraging your strategic and analytical expertise, you will offer insightful guidance to enhance marketing and communication efforts. Your ability to develop data-driven strategies from inception to execution, combined with your storytelling skills, will enable us to deliver exceptional value to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement and Development
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the client's objectives and strategies to ensure that deliverables align with their goals.
- Transform data and analysis into actionable insights that inform impactful strategies tailored to client requirements.
- Lead client presentations throughout the project lifecycle, including research briefings and strategic workshops.
- Act as a central collaborator to enhance client engagement across various initiatives.
- Drive ideation for client recommendations, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to create actionable and innovative ideas.
Research and Insight Management
- Take charge of client briefs, converting client needs into clear research and strategy questions that guide research design.
- Ensure the quality of outputs delivered to clients by collaborating with editorial, project management, and design teams to meet internal standards.
- Oversee the entire client project lifecycle, coordinating internal resources and maintaining oversight of team deliverables to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct research across a wide array of sources, particularly in social and digital media, influencer engagement, consumer sentiment, and narratives to inform recommendations.
Innovation and Thought Leadership
- Collaborate with team leadership to refine and enhance existing methodologies and approaches, ensuring Storyful remains at the cutting edge.
- Work alongside product teams to foster tool development and innovation.
- Enhance internal expertise in relevant industries, staying informed about emerging trends and the opportunities they present for our clients.
- Serve as a subject matter expert to support insight generation for marketing and pre-sales activities, including authoring articles and newsletters.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in social media, corporate communications, marketing, consultancy, media, or brand environments.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong qualitative and quantitative research capabilities, with the ability to extract creative insights from diverse data sources.
- Experience in providing strategic guidance and insights for clients, including cultural, audience, and digital insights for marketing and communication purposes.
- Proficient project management skills, ideally in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to brainstorm and generate ideas, both internally and in client workshops.
- BA/MA degree in a related field.
- Fluency in a non-English language is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with online monitoring tools such as Brandwatch, Zignal, Meltwater, Netbase Quid, and BuzzSumo is a plus.
