We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst and Strategist to join our analytics group for a rapidly growing startup. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mind, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive success through data-driven insights.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building proactive analysis through data mining to identify trends and opportunities for product optimization. They will also be involved in finding areas of opportunity to drive revenue in digital advertising campaigns, developing data-driven stories in dynamic presentations, and discovering best practices to reduce subjectivity and display industry leadership.

The Data Analyst and Strategist will work closely with the R&D team to organize and store data in a format that provides accurate data and allows the business to quickly identify both data and operational issues. They will also be responsible for packaging and presenting analytical findings and clearly communicating program results and complex concepts to success managers, marketing, sales teams, and end clients.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in business analytics or digital advertising environments, with competency in statistical analytic techniques such as time series data analysis, forecasting, segmentation, univariate & multivariate statistical analysis, various metrics and key performance indicators, research & test design, significance testing, hypothesis testing, variance and growth calculations, and return on investment.

Project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and work effectively with colleagues and clients in diverse departments, geographic locations, and time zones, are also essential. The successful candidate will balance the desire for quantitative rigor with the realities of inconsistent business data.

Critical thinking, enthusiasm for translating data into actionable insights, and experience with tools such as MS Office, BI & Analytics Tools, web analytics tools, open source statistical software, and database management systems are also required.

We are looking for a proactive, independent thinker with high energy and a positive attitude. A Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.Sc.) or equivalent is required, as well as experience working with a distributed team of Sales managers, project managers, and technical support.

The successful candidate will be authorized to work in the US and will be willing to take coaching for continuous personal development.
