Job Overview

The Special Education Early Childhood Teacher position at Adapt Community Network requires a highly skilled and compassionate educator to lead our early intervention program. You will be responsible for designing and implementing individualized education plans, assessing student progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support.

Responsibilities:
  1. Teaching and Instruction**: Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of students, utilizing evidence-based practices and creative teaching strategies.
  2. Assessment and Evaluation**: Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress, adjust instruction, and communicate findings to parents/guardians.
  3. Collaboration and Teamwork**: Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, share knowledge, and coordinate efforts to provide cohesive support for students.
  4. Record Keeping and Data Analysis**: Maintain accurate records, track student progress, and analyze data to inform instructional decisions.
  5. Communication and Parent Engagement**: Foster strong relationships with parents/guardians, keeping them informed about student progress, goals, and any challenges that arise.
