Job Summary

The Strategic Product Sourcing Manager plays a pivotal role in driving Accuray's long-term new product development and sourcing strategies. This position is responsible for managing activities that support the development, introduction, and lifecycle value improvement of products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and set the supply base strategy for assigned products, ensuring alignment with engineering, manufacturing, and quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement strategies across the sourcing organization, driving innovation and cost savings.
  • Partner with engineering, quality, operations, procurement, planning, installation project management, and other groups to ensure capable product and factory fulfillment requirements are met.
  • Define supply chain requirements for new product launches, balancing quality, cost, and schedule targets.
  • Act as sourcing lead for new product launches, managing inception through execution and ensuring clear communication across all aspects of a project.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, supply chain management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in sourcing and supply chain management, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry.
  • 3 years of product sourcing experience.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing best practices in global sourcing.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance programs (ISO, FDA), ERP systems, and manufacturing-related processes.
  • Negotiation experience and the ability to meet cost targets.
  • Ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships with product development and NPI teams.
  • Experience in fostering collaborative relationships with suppliers to drive innovation and cost savings.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and teamwork skills.
  • Must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Commitment to high standards of excellence and integrity.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally 25%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Engineering or manufacturing background.
  • Experience within the medical device industry.
  • Direct experience working within SAP S4 HANA.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $111,500 - $153,000. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors, including geography, experience, skills, future potential, and internal pay parity. This role may be eligible for the Accuray Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.

To qualify for this position, candidates must be able to furnish proof that they are authorized to work in the country they are applying on a permanent basis without sponsorship.
