Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Sr. Manager of Sales Engineering to lead our sales engineering team in the Northeast Region. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills, a strong technical background, and a proven track record of developing high-performing teams.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the sales engineering team, managing resources, and working closely with customers to drive sales and deliver technical solutions. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the sales engineering team in the Northeast Region, providing strategic guidance and direction to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and implement effective resource management strategies to optimize team performance.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their technical requirements and develop tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure seamless delivery of technical solutions and drive sales growth.
  • Manage all aspects of people management, including hiring, development, training, regular 1:1s, and annual reviews.
  • Provide feedback and direction to team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and support to succeed.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A B.A. degree or equivalent in Engineering, Math, Technology, or Business-related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales leadership and/or management sales operations role.
  • 10+ years of experience in Sales, Field, or Marketing roles.
  • Demonstrated track record of developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong technical background in networking and cloud (private and public).

  • Competitive base salary range: $150,000 - $215,000.
  • An opportunity to earn an annual bonus or commission.
