Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for the Managed Services Engineering team, ensuring optimal workflow, team schedules, and task delegation.
  • Assess employee work performance, identifying areas for improvement and establishing skill-building plans.
  • Ensure business goals, deadlines, and performance standards are met.
  • Maintain workforce management to ensure growth and product evolution as demanded by the business.
  • Ensure training and onboarding for new hires, ensuring they understand their roles, tools, processes, and procedures.
  • Set goals for team members and verify compliance with the company's plans and vision.
  • Recommend and evaluate new employees, partnering with the AireSpring human resources team.
  • Complete performance evaluations consistent with HR and senior management guidelines and expectations.
  • Ensure the team is skilled in enterprise networking solutions, multivendor SDWAN and Security solutions, enterprise voice solutions, managed firewalls, and wireless technologies.
  • Exercise personal skill building and education on new technologies, products, and processes.
  • Provide outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

  • Customer-centric, experienced manager with thought leadership, innovation, and customer experience contribution.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead technical teams in a rapid growth managed services environment.
  • Envision process improvements and lead the execution and maintenance of best practices, processes, and procedures.
  • Leadership experience managing an engineering team handling routing and switching protocols, configuration and installation of CPE, IP site outage troubleshooting, QoS monitoring, and related infrastructure documentation.
  • Active leadership in management meetings and senior Management Committee Meetings.
  • Desired experience in Fortinet, Broadcom (VMware), Cato, Peplink, and 8x8, with certifications in these areas highly desirable.
  • Strong self-motivation and willingness to tackle challenging problems.
