About the Role
Cable ONE is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Technician to join our team. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining our customers' cable and internet services.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain customer service drops or outlets in residential and business properties.
- Use electronic test equipment and online diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair reception performance issues.
- Ensure proper upstream and downstream signal levels at each termination on the customer's premises.
- Suggest upgrades of existing services and educate customers on their new/existing equipment.
- Perform other duties as needed to drive our Purpose, fulfill our Brand Principles, and abide by our Organization's Value.
Requirements
- A good driving record and a valid driver's license in the state you are applying.
- Flexibility to work overtime and on-call as needed.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to listen to customers and present solutions in a positive manner.
- Ability to work in small and confined areas, lift up to 80 lbs., work on a ladder, and work in all weather conditions.
- Demonstrated customer service or related experience and/or training.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Regular and predictable attendance is required.
