Position Overview

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Currently, there are no open positions, but we welcome applications for future opportunities.

Compensation: Up to $32/hour, commensurate with experience.

Lutheran Social Services of Central Ohio is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our esteemed team at our senior living community. Our facility provides a range of living options, including Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care, all designed to ensure comfort and security for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver daily care and support to residents, ensuring adherence to licensure standards. This includes timely medication administration, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with personal hygiene and care.
  • Oversee the daily operations of resident assistants, ensuring compliance with regulations set forth by health authorities and maintaining alignment with residents' care plans.
  • Collaborate with staff and support personnel to plan and implement services, programs, and activities, providing both written and verbal reports as needed.
  • Document incidents and changes in resident conditions, ensuring thorough and accurate medical records.
  • Maintain communication with the Director of Nursing regarding inventory and supply needs, making recommendations as necessary.
  • Participate in performance evaluations and assist in staffing decisions, providing input on employee management matters.
  • Conduct regular inspections of treatment areas and resident spaces to ensure cleanliness and safety.
  • Address resident and family concerns, documenting grievances and initiating investigations as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Active Practical Nursing Licensure (LPN) or Registered Nurse Licensure (RN) in the state of Ohio.
  • Experience working with elderly populations is preferred.
