As a Health and Safety Specialist at syncreon by DP World, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety management systems, training programs, and procedures.
  • Monitor and revise safety regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.
  • Provide technical safety and health support to employees.
  • Coordinate safety training initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze risk assessments, near-miss, and accident data.
  • Lead health and safety meetings and present data to senior management.
  • Administer mandatory environmental, health, and safety training.
  • Work with operational teams to improve the working environment.
  • Conduct internal audits, workplace inspections, and health and safety tours.
  • Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment.

Requirements

  • Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulatory requirements.
  • Experience developing and administering health and safety programs.
  • OSHA 10 Hour or Basic Knowledge of Plant Safety and Current First Aid/CPR First Responder Training.
  • Ability to work and be flexible, available for on-call hours.
  • Computer literate – MS applications.
  • Good communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Ability to travel 50-75%.
