At Smith's Waterproofing, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Safety Coordinator to join our team.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction safety management, preferably in a supervisory or coordinator role. With at least three years of experience in the industry, they will possess in-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.

We are looking for a professional who can develop, coordinate, implement, and update our company's safety programs, risk management, loss control, and emergency response plans. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enforcing safety policies and procedures, conducting regular inspections, and providing training to prevent accidents and injuries.

This is a full-time position that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate safety requirements to diverse audiences. A bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred, along with certification as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP).

In this role, you will work closely with project teams to create site or project-specific safety plans, conduct job hazard analyses, and educate all team members on safety protocols. You will also perform scope and schedule analyses, identify potential safety hazards, and implement corrective action directives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, coordinate, implement, and update safety programs, risk management, loss control, and emergency response plans

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification
  • At least three years of experience in construction safety management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment
