Qualifications
  • Education : Graduate Degree required. Must be a graduate of a PA program accredited by CAAHEP or equivalent, or a master's degree NP program or Postmaster's NP program. National certification is required. Ability to provide care across all age groups is essential.
    • Experience : A minimum of two years in a Neurosurgery care setting is required. Experience in a physician/hospital practice setting is preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current NP or PA license in the relevant state, registration with the state medical board, current DEA registration, and ACLS (not required for in-office only NP/PA) and BLS certification are mandatory.
  • Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills are essential.
