Job Title: Tower Technician I

Responsibilities:
  • Implement Linkup Group Health Safety and Environmental Policies, adhering to the Safety Manual.
  • Understand and implement Industry standards, including OSHA, TIA10-48, NATE CTS, and ANSI.
  • Climb towers and ladders at various heights, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Erect various tower types, utilizing specialized equipment and techniques.
  • Off-load material and inventory, maintaining a well-organized workspace.
  • Prepare and clean sites, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Install new carriers on new build and existing towers, utilizing advanced telecommunications equipment.
  • Assist in tower erection using helicopters, cranes, and gin poles, demonstrating expertise in heavy equipment operation.
  • Assist in the assembly of monopole, all weld, and knock down self-support and guyed towers, showcasing versatility and adaptability.
  • Assist in the antenna installation of microwave parabolic 1 to 15-foot, VHF, UHF, cellular, and FM broadcast antennas, requiring precision and attention to detail.
  • Assist in the transmission line and installation of foam/air dielectric coaxial, hardline, and elliptical waveguide, ensuring high-quality connections.
  • Assist in the installation of all aspects of ell site foundations, grounding, and conduits, with electrical installations where applicable, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of telecommunications infrastructure.
  • Serve as a mentor to new, less-experienced technicians, providing guidance and support.
  • Complete other duties as assigned, showcasing a willingness to adapt and contribute to the team's success.
Qualifications:

  • The ability to climb towers, lift 50 pounds, and work up to 12 hours is required, with a focus on physical stamina and endurance.
  • A valid driver's license and a driving record meeting the company policy conditions are necessary, with a focus on safety and responsibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
