Patient Care Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Care Assistant to join our team at UMass Memorial Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Participate in patient education and support, including teaching patients about their medications and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
