Patient Care Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Care Assistant to join our team at UMass Memorial Health. As a Patient Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and support to patients and their families
- Assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, ambulating, meals, and nourishment
- Participate in the development and maintenance of a safe environment
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Perform various administrative tasks, such as documenting patient information and maintaining accurate records
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
