Key Responsibilities:
  • Safe operation of aircraft, determining departure times and routes, and/or canceling flights based on weather or other conditions
  • Ensuring compliance with all federal, local, and company regulations and policies

  • Conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner in accordance with industry and company standards
  • Accurate completion of all trip paperwork
  • Ensuring a thorough understanding with the second in command regarding all aspects of flight
  • Recording aircraft discrepancies and reporting them to the director of maintenance
  • Determining that the flight crew reports for duty in proper attire and is mentally and physically fit for duty
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of all aircraft systems
  • Securing the aircraft after each flight
  • Obtaining current weather reports and forecasts
  • Filing flight plans with the FAA or an ICAO state ATC facility
  • Analyzing area, enroute, and terminal charts
  • Performing the functions of the In TSA Flight Security Coordinator
  • Conducting passenger safety briefings
  • Imparting knowledge and skills to the second in command
  • Completing and sending leg manifests and end-of-day reports
  • Reporting safety hazards and concerns
Requirements:
  • Must possess an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with appropriate Aircraft Type Rating
  • Must obtain and maintain an FAA First Class Medical
  • Must have 4000 hours Total Fixed Wing experience
  • Must have 1500 hours Multi-Engine Land experience
  • Must have 2000 hours Pilot-in-Command experience
  • Must have 1500 hours Turbojet experience
  • Must have 1500 Turbine time experience
  • Must have 100 hours Night experience
  • Must have 75 hours Actual or Simulated Instrument experience
  • Must have 5 years of aviation experience
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules
  • Must be willing and able to travel worldwide extensively
  • Must have a valid driver's license

The Hangar environment may be extreme hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
