Jet Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Captain to join our team. As a Captain, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient conduct of flights, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Safe operation of aircraft, determining departure times and routes, and/or canceling flights based on weather or other conditions
- Ensuring compliance with all federal, local, and company regulations and policies
- Instituting necessary changes as required by en route conditions
- Conducting flights in a safe and prudent manner in accordance with industry and company standards
- Accurate completion of all trip paperwork
- Ensuring a thorough understanding with the second in command regarding all aspects of flight
- Recording aircraft discrepancies and reporting them to the director of maintenance
- Determining that the flight crew reports for duty in proper attire and is mentally and physically fit for duty
- Maintaining a working knowledge of all aircraft systems
- Securing the aircraft after each flight
- Obtaining current weather reports and forecasts
- Filing flight plans with the FAA or an ICAO state ATC facility
- Analyzing area, enroute, and terminal charts
- Performing the functions of the In TSA Flight Security Coordinator
- Conducting passenger safety briefings
- Imparting knowledge and skills to the second in command
- Completing and sending leg manifests and end-of-day reports
- Reporting safety hazards and concerns
- Must possess an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with appropriate Aircraft Type Rating
- Must obtain and maintain an FAA First Class Medical
- Must have 4000 hours Total Fixed Wing experience
- Must have 1500 hours Multi-Engine Land experience
- Must have 2000 hours Pilot-in-Command experience
- Must have 1500 hours Turbojet experience
- Must have 1500 Turbine time experience
- Must have 100 hours Night experience
- Must have 75 hours Actual or Simulated Instrument experience
- Must have 5 years of aviation experience
- Must be able to work flexible schedules
- Must be willing and able to travel worldwide extensively
- Must have a valid driver's license
- College Degree preferred
- Ability to handle job responsibilities with integrity, discretion, and sensitivity to confidential company and employee information
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both in written and verbal formats
- Possess a team effort approach with great interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
- Ability to be proactive, efficient, and seek out answers and resources as needed
- Strong project management experience
- Pleasant, friendly, and helpful manner to deliver the best experience to customers and colleagues

The employee must be able to work in both a heavy maintenance environment and in upscale customer areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with occasional high volume when aircrafts arrive/depart. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace. Employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The Hangar environment may be extreme hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
