About the Role


At Hartford HealthCare Medical Group, we are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our Neurosurgery team. As a surgical PA, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced neurosurgeons and a team of advanced practice providers who are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.


Responsibilities



  • First assist on a variety of cranial and spine cases, including DBS, advanced minimally invasive spine surgery, and deformity correction cases
  • Participate in the HIFU (high-intensity focused ultrasound) program for treatment of movement disorders
  • Contribute to the advancement of neurosurgery through collaboration with our experienced team

Requirements



  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Master's program required
  • Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant in the state of Connecticut
  • Certification or eligible to be certified as a Physician Assistant
  • Preferred >1-year experience as a Surgical Physician Assistant in a Neurosurgery or an Orthopedic setting; 1st Assist in OR preferred
