Position Summary

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC is actively seeking dedicated Pharmacy Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs by ensuring the efficient fulfillment of prescriptions at our pharmacy facility. Our mission is to provide Veteran beneficiaries with timely and accurate access to their medications, enhancing their overall healthcare experience.

Compensation: $24.72 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and dispense medications while maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Package, label, and distribute prescribed medication doses.
  • Manage inventory levels of pharmaceuticals and supplies, ensuring proper stock rotation and monitoring expiration dates.
  • Utilize pharmacy automation systems for medication filling and stocking.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of pharmacy equipment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols when handling hazardous materials.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in basic mathematical calculations.
  • Basic computer skills and typing ability.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
  • No sponsorship is available for this position.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, bend, and reach during the work shift.
  • Lift and carry weights as specified.
  • Push and pull with a reasonable amount of force.
