Adecco Staffing is assisting a well-known Medical Device Manufacturing facility in Chelmsford, MA with their needs for a Manufacturing Support Specialist on 1st shift. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

Responsibilities include providing support to the Pumps Manufacturing Manager by performing advanced troubleshooting activities on the IABP manufacturing floor while conforming to all FDA, GMP, and Arrow SOP requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing detailed troubleshooting on the manufacturing floor for IABP's that failed during the manufacturing process which cannot be resolved by production technicians.
  • Performing rework on IABP's per rework instructions as required.
  • Performing preventative maintenance per PM schedule on test equipment used on the manufacturing floor.
  • Repairing and reworking electronic and electromechanical products and sub-assemblies for re-issue.
  • Performing training on work instructions to build miscellaneous sub-assemblies.
  • Performing root cause analysis on non-conformance (NC) parts.
  • Performing other duties as requested by manufacturing, engineering, and quality assurance as required.

Requirements include:

  • Must be capable of using a wide variety of test equipment, both mechanical and electrical.
  • Strong work ethic and attitude of accountability to mission and product quality a must.
  • Must be able and willing to change priorities. Strong organizational skills required.
  • Ability to lift 100 lbs.
  • Must be able to pay attention to detail including documentation and work orders.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with assemblers and test technicians while presenting themselves in a professional manner.
  • Trade School/Military or Certificate in Electronics Technology.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in the servicing and repair of electronic and electromechanical devices; medical device and biomedical experience preferred.
