Job Title: Dispensary Technician

Job Summary:
The Dispensary Technician plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient care at TGS Global. This individual will work closely with Pharmacists to ensure seamless prescription fulfillment and exceptional customer service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Pharmacists to resolve prescription fulfillment issues and promote a professional dispensary environment.
  • Assist in filling prescription items, labeling products, and maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Input patient data and medication orders into the POS system and NY State's software.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient concerns and fostering a supportive environment.
  • Meet the minimum qualifications, including a pharmacy technician certification and at least one year of experience working as a pharmacy technician.


Requirements:

  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Pharmacy Technician certification required.
  • At least one year of experience working as a pharmacy technician.
  • Broad range of pharmacy techniques and practices, such as compounding, highly desirable.
  • Customer-facing experience a strong plus.


Additional Information:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods, use hands to perform manual tasks, and lift or move up to 10 pounds (or more with assistance).
  • Must be able to speak and communicate verbally with co-workers, customers, vendors, etc.
