Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain physicians and providers, including creating job descriptions, developing recruitment plans, and coordinating with department chairs and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate the recruitment and onboarding process for new physicians and providers, including coordinating with credentialing, sanction searches, references, visa applications, and benefit reviews.
- Collaborate with department leadership to develop job descriptions and review benefits and compensation packages with prospective candidates.
- Analyze exit interview feedback and make recommendations for improvement to enhance the recruitment and retention process.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and other regulatory bodies, including OIG, Stark Laws, HPSA, and MUHA qualifications, EEOC, Department of Labor/Immigration, Affirmative Action, etc.
- Provide data and reporting for current state analysis, review gap analysis, and determine action plans to close the gaps, and implement and monitor action plans.
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field, and two years of professional Human Resources, Physician Recruitment, sales or marketing experience, or Bachelor's degree and four years of professional Human Resources, Physician Recruitment, sales or marketing experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Experience with an emphasis in recruitment, retention, and employment compliance, such as Affirmative Action, Immigration, Stark Laws, etc.
- Recent work experience in a healthcare setting.
- Certification as a Professional Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, Certified Strategic Work Force Planner (SWP), and/or Certified Employee Retention Profession (CERP).
This position requires a standard, high-volume office environment, with extended periods of sitting and computer usage. Travel is expected on average 20% of time, but can fluctuate based on volume.
Skills and Abilities- Ability to maintain a working knowledge of federal and state labor laws related to all aspects of employment.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects.
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
